She holds her MA in Christian Education and Ministries from Wheaton College, IL and her MS in Social Work from the University of TN.
Kristin’s experience as a mental health counselor has led her to work with clients with intense needs in high stress settings, including substance abuse treatment facilities and in the community with the police in crisis situations. Yet, her most fulfilling role has been counseling parents caring for children with various types of disabilities, helping these parents address their unique stressors and spiritual, emotional, and relationship needs.
Kristin is a member of Word Weavers, Int’l., CAN, AWSA, and the National Association of Social Workers. When she’s not reading, writing, or speaking, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and being outdoors. She loves a good Italian roast coffee and dark chocolate.
