Kate Rietema
Kate Rietema and her husband live in Michigan where they run a family campground. They have five daughters through birth and adoption, and have cared for many others in their ten years as licensed foster parents. Although Kate often feels surrounded by brokenness, she has become a self-proclaimed expert at noticing the goodness of God. It is her passion to share this goodness with others through her words and actions.
As well as being a busy mom, Kate is a registered nurse, community educator, and writer. Her work can be found in publications like Highlights, Clubhouse, The School Magazine, Keys for Kids, Guideposts, and more. Kate is the author of When God Makes Scribbles Beautiful (B&H Kids, 2024) and All the Babies: A First Book About Adoption (B&H Kids, 2024).
