Drew Brown

Drew Brown is currently an admissions counselor at Azusa Pacific University, where he oversees more than nine hundred excited high school seniors in their journey towards higher education. Throughout this experience, he has realized his passion of communicating big truths in beautiful and simple ways for college students, many of whom don’t have the words to describe their experiences themselves.

Drew received a BA in Theology from Azusa Pacific University and is about to finish his MA in English (theology and literature) from Azusa Pacific. On any given day, an onlooker may find twenty tabs open on his laptop exploring different doctoral and MFA programs. Perhaps if they remain open long enough, the applications will write themselves. Drew hopes to write books for Christian audiences while teaching college courses about writing books for Christian audiences. He’s found his lane and is excited to stick to it.

Drew is working on his first book about his time falling in love and walking through undiagnosed anxiety, and he recently received the Ethel Herr Most Promising New Writer award at Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference—an experience that refined and illuminated his passions and dreams for the Christian publishing industry. He works hard to maintain appearances on X and Facebook, recently receiving the honor of having a tweet regarding The Office and the Bible go viral, much to his shock and awe.
