Kristin Faith Evans

Kristin Faith Evans is an award-winning author, speaker, Licensed Master Social Worker, and a mother of two children with complex needs. Her greatest passion is inspiring others on their journeys to deeper faith and mental health wholeness. She empowers parent caregivers through her ministry and blog, Disability Parenting. Her new marriage book (coauthored with her husband) will equip couples to build a thriving marriage while caring for children with disabilities (Baker Books, May 2024).

Kristin has articles in Focus on the Family Magazine (Selah Award Finalist), The Joyful Life Magazine, Alive Now, and The Upper Room and short stories in Room at the Table: Encouraging Stories from Special Needs Families, Selah Award Winner (Mt. Zion Ridge Press, 2022) and Triumph from Tragedy: Personal Stories of Struggle, Courage, Hope, and Victory (Christian Writers for Life, 2021). She has written for Key Ministry and Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference blogs and is a regular contributor to Different Dream Living blog. You can often find Kristin speaking on podcasts and at disability conferences.

She earned her MA in Christian Education and Ministries from Wheaton College, IL and her MS in Social Work from the University of TN. She is experienced in couples, family, substance abuse, and crisis counseling, as well as church, retreat, and camping ministries.

Kristin lives with her husband, Todd, and their two children in the Nashville, TN area. When she’s not enjoying life with her family, writing, or speaking, you can find her jogging, traveling, or out in nature.
