Team Wimage

Michael Hyacinthe, CEO of Wimage, LLC, is a US Navy Seabee veteran that used his experience with wounded veterans to find creative and therapeutic outlets for them to express themselves through his nonprofit, Has Heart, which has partnered with Starbucks, Home Depot, and more. This compelled him to create Wimage as a tool to also inspire and empower children to use creativity to learn and become storytellers through the Wimage app and its lovable mascot Wimee the Robot.

Michael was born in Haiti to a loving, hard-working family. He and his twin brother joined the military right out of high school in the Bronx. He drove a New York City yellow cab after his military service for three years and has worked his way up to being a social entrepreneur that is passionate about projects that will impact under-served communities and help change lives.

He has been acknowledged as a Top 30 under 30 entrepreneur by Inc Small Business Magazine, a top 40 under 40 entrepreneur by the Grand Rapids Business Journal, and recently acknowledged Top Veteran Owned Business by the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce. Michael continues to serves veterans as an adjunct professor at Grand Valley State University in their Veteran Entrepreneur Lab. He enjoys playing basketball, listening to his favorite musician NAS, and spending time with his four kids and their friends.

Kevin Kammeraad is the Creative Director for Wimage. His experience as a children’s author, artist, performer, and presenter/educator over the past twenty years make him an ideal candidate to manage the image of Wimee and to bring the artistic vision of Wimage LLC to life. Kevin is a master puppeteer. Kevin has spent his career performing interactive, inspiring, entertaining, high-energy shows at schools, family events, libraries, and festivals.

Stephanie Kammeraad is the Education Director for Wimage LLC. Stephanie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Special Education from Grand Valley State University. She’s formerly a preschool teacher of children on the autism spectrum, has coordinated and taught various classes and camps over the past fifteen years, and is currently a mentor teacher in the Grand Rapids homeschooling community.
