Kim Johnson

Kim Johnson is a writer and speaker, and has been a contributing author in books published by Concordia University, Tyndale House, and Kregel Publications. Her book, Working Women’s Devotions to Go, was published in 2007. With a degree in Christian Business, she has extensive experience in church ministry as well as a secular career as a legal secretary.

As a pastor’s wife with two teenage daughters, Kim experienced a devastating, unwanted divorce. God used that experience to open opportunities, and she has been leading adult divorce recovery classes for many years since. Constant requests from parents for information to help their teenagers cope with the fallout of their divorce led Kim to create a book just for teens that has been used in conjunction with her adult classes.

Currently, Kim serves as Chair of the Board for NEWIM (Network of Evangelical Women in Ministry) and is the Editor of their monthly devotional called Food for the Soul. Most recently she retired from her position as assistant to the Chief Counsel for the Disneyland Resort. She and her husband reside in Southern California and serve as volunteer Ministry Partners at their local church. They enjoy camping, hiking and fishing, and have a blended family of four adult children and ten grandchildren.
