Jason Anderson

Jason Anderson may just be synonymous with versatility. Even his education spans the spectrum: having graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. in finance, he is now pursuing a doctorate in theology. While working as an accountant at the 8,000-member congregation of The Living Word in Mesa, Arizona, he formed a band that charted four songs and toured North America and several foreign countries.

During these same years Jason joined the pastoral staff at The Living Word and began teaching, preaching, and producing TV and radio programing. He developed a curriculum called 26 Weeks of Leadership, which was taught first at the church and later offered as an accredited college-level class at Friends International University. He is an authorized Equip trainer for John Maxwell and has trained pastors with the Equip leadership curriculum as far away as Cambodia.

In 2001 Pastor Anderson became the executive producer of the television show “Word for Winners,”hosted by his father Dr. C. Thomas Anderson. He has produced and hosted four other shows, one of which is being broadcast nationally. In 2002 Jason founded Wrinkle Free Records, which has since transformed into VSR Music group, a record label distributed with EMI/CMG.

In 2004 Jason started the radio show “Taking a Minute,” a one-minute word of wisdom that he writes and hosts. “Taking a Minute” now airs in over 300 cities across the US and Canada. The show has spun off into three youth devotionals that are published and distributed to bookstores in the US through Winword Publishing.

Most recent project: The Journey (Destiny Image 2011).
