David Moore

David Moore is founder and president of Two Cities Ministries. He also coaches executives through Right Well. He has extensive media experience, including a one-hour interview special with William F. Buckley that aired throughout the US on PBS.

David has spoken at several universities and churches on a variety of topics. He has been a plenary speaker for the Veritas Forum and Campus Crusade for Christ. Other than the United States, conference speaking has taken him to Canada, Mexico, Poland, Croatia, and France. He has also spoken at numerous professional baseball and football chapels for teams such as the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs, Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers, and Chicago Bears.

His first book, The Battle for Hell (University Press of America, 1995), was endorsed by Wayne Grudem, J.I. Packer, Clark Pinnock, and Dallas Willard. It was a revision of Dave’s M.A. thesis at Trinity Seminary where it won the Professor C.B. Bjuge award as the best work in theology. His second book, a commentary on Ecclesiastes (Broadman & Holman, now B & H), was chosen by Preaching magazine as one of the best books of 2003 for preachers. His most recent book is The Last Men’s Book You’ll Ever Need (also B & H).

He is married to Doreen who is the author of a book on three eighteenth-century Christian leaders entitled Good Christians, Good Husbands?: Leaving a Legacy in Marriage and Ministry (Christian Focus Publications of Scotland, UK). They and their two sons, David and Christopher, reside in Austin, Texas.
