
Angela Marie Hutchinson
As a Hollywood power player, Angela has been invited as a keynote speaker and moderator for live events. She has served a BBC World News Commentator for live coverage of the Oscars–the biggest night in Hollywood! In 2020, Angela was hired to write the new original holiday movie, “A Christmas for Mary,” which aired through January 2021 on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. Prior to Hutchinson’s recent accolades, her first narrative feature film that she wrote and produced, “Hollywood Chaos,” also starring Simmons is currently airing on Peacock.
As the founder of the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, BReaKiNG iNTo HoLLyWooD, Angela has been helping creative and business professionals pursue their careers since 2005. As the former Editor-in-Chief of Hollywood & Vine, Managing Editor of Valley Lawyer, and Editor of Diversity Careers in Engineering and IT, Angela has written and edited over 200 magazine articles. Additionally, Angela served as a social media professor at Loyola Marymount University. Originally from Chicago, Angela graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S.E. in Industrial & Operations Engineering. She also earned a Cross-Media Journalism Certificate from USC.
An advisory board member for several organizations, Angela is passionate about youth, women’s empowerment, technology and business. Angela resides in Los Angeles with her three young children and rocket scientist husband of 18 years. In her leisure time, Angela enjoys rollerblading, trampoline AIRrobics, and exploring new parks. She also loves serving in youth ministry at her church as a Sunday School teacher. Angela’s fav drinks are drip coffee and tropical green tea.
