Afton Rorvik

Afton Rorvik savors words, flavored coffee, and time outside. As an introvert who loves Jesus, she seeks to love others by living quietly connected.

A graduate of Wheaton College, Afton has worked in the publishing industry since 1987. Her work includes editing adult nonfiction books for both first-time authors and bestselling CBA authors, writing numerous articles and profile pieces, and publishing Storm Sisters: Friends through All Seasons (Worthy 2014) and Living Connected: An Introvert’s Guide to Friendship (Iron Stream 2021).

Afton actively participates in the Redbud Writers Guild.

She celebrates her marriage of over thirty-five years to her husband, John. During those years, they have intentionally cultivated a friendship within their marriage as they raised and launched two children. Today they enjoy practicing restorative hospitality with the many guests who come through their door.
