| Susan is a full-time mom with three active children, who were adopted from Russia over a period of five years. She studied international business at Central Michigan University and achieved a Masters in communication from Western Michigan University Graduate School. For nearly ten years, she worked in marketing for a major cosmetics manufacturer, traveling extensively to meet with business leaders and speak at business functions. When Susan's first child arrived in 1998, she left her full-time professional career to be a stay-at-home mom. Susan is currently working on developing her platform and promoting her first book. She enjoys speaking to groups and recently held a book promotion at the 2010 National Orphan Summit in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where her book was introduced and given to over five hundred gatekeepers in the national adoption community. |
Susan is an insightful, witty, and passionate individual. She currently resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with her husband Michael and their three children, Matthew, Kola, and Lera.
