| Dr. Bishop is passionate about leadership and the importance of passing the mantle to the next generation in a way that is relevant to them. As of January 2006, she became responsible for faculty and staff development across the seven faculties of the University of the Nations and reports directly to the Provost.
She has held a variety of leadership positions with the university over the past 20 years in classroom teaching, project management, departmental leadership, and executive leadership. During her doctoral studies, she focused on the issue of leadership transition in organizations and completed a dissertation on that topic. Dr. Bishop completed her doctorate in Educational Studies in 2004 at Trinity International University. She holds a Master's degree from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. |
