Jeff Holder

Jeff Holder writes for kids of all ages, even those who are only kids at heart.

Jeff has written for multiple animated series including Dennis the Menace, Yogi Bear, Scooby-Doo, and dozens more. He’s produced Veggie Tales and worked with Sesame Street.

He’s been a studio (Hanna-Barbera, Sony) and network executive (ABC, Cartoon Network). He’s even wandered into the grown-up section with four commissioned feature films.

Of late, he has focused his work on writing that is faith-filled. He’s worked creatively with mission agencies, writing and creating media for them, including One Hope, Most Important Story, and The Jesus Film.

Jeff serves as a judge for UCLA’s screenwriting expo, the Humanitas Award, the Kairos Prize, and is a scriptwriting instructor.

Jeff and his wife are empty-nesters, but they still have a dog that keeps them up at night.
