Annette Hubbell

History buff Annette Hubbell believes her work is inspired and motivated by one of the Bible’s strongest themes, that Jesus uses the least to accomplish his purpose so that no one can boast and hope is given to all. Her days are immersed in writing, several weekly Bible classes, travel, and volunteer work.

Annette’s MBA proved useful in owner-operated businesses, careers in the political arena, and executive-level/General Manager positions in profit and non-profit organizations. For 16 years, Annette served on the Board of Managers of two YMCAs, interacting with children, teenagers, and those who work with them.

Annette’s background, which includes 20 years of extensive public speaking, prepared her for even more diverse activities: her current role as a writer and actor. Among her artistic endeavors, Annette’s love of history manifested itself in bringing to the community two eras of U.S. history: The Civil War and the Roosevelt years. She wrote and starred in a 70-minute, one-woman play entitled Witness to Gettysburg,© and has performed it more than 160 times for a wide variety of audiences. Annette is currently starring as Eleanor Roosevelt in Tea with Mrs. Roosevelt,© and portrays other historical figures in Legends and Heroes.
