Susan Andriga is a life and leadership coach, consultant, and speaker with a special heart for women. She specializes in helping people tap their full purpose, passion and potential in both life and leadership. Susan has held senior leadership positions for Fortune 100 companies, and her consulting work has ranged from working with for-profit organizations such as Nike and World Vision. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and an undergraduate degree in Communications from Bethel College. Susan and her husband, Dirk, live in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.

Shelly Beach

Shelly Beach holds an M.R.E. from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and is a writer, public speaker, communications consultant, and college writing instructor. Her devotionals, poetry, feature articles, and fiction have been published in a wide variety of secular and religious periodicals, including Moody Magazine and Focus on the Family.

Shelly has ghosted an eschatology study guide, in addition to serving as an editor for a number of regional publications. Her contemporary Christian novel, Hallie's Heart, was released by Kregel in January of 2007. Her second release, Precious Lord, Take My Hand (Discovery House, April 2007) is a collection of meditations for caregivers, based upon seven years experience caring for her father-in-law and her parents in her home. Ambushed by Grace (Discovery House, January 2008) explores the topic of spiritual formation through caregiving.

Shelly is the founder of the Riverview Christian Writers' Workshop in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and is a member of the Christian Authors' Network.

Camile Bishop

Dr. Bishop is passionate about leadership and the importance of passing the mantle to the next generation in a way that is relevant to them. As of January 2006, she became responsible for faculty and staff development across the seven faculties of the University of the Nations and reports directly to the Provost. She has held a variety of leadership positions with the University over the past twenty years ranging from classroom teaching, project management, departmental and executive leadership. During her doctoral studies (1998-2004), she focused on the issue of leadership transition in organizations and completed a dissertation on that topic.

Dr. Bishop completed her doctorate in Educational Studies in 2004 at Trinity International University. She also holds a Master's degree from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Christopher Brauns

Braun photoChris Brauns is the Senior Pastor at the Congregational Christian Church of Stillman Valley, IL.

Chris has a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Central College (Pella, IA) and an MBA from Northern Iowa U (Cedar Falls, IA). He began his career working in product development in medical diagnostics for Bayer. In his capacity there, he wrote technical materials for new product development.

Chris left the corporate world in 1990 and graduated from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in 1993 with a Master of Divinity degree. He graduated with honors and received the President's Award "given annually to the outstanding seminarian of the year." Chris also received the Strauss Expository Preaching Award"“given in memory of Elsie Strauss to the senior seminarian chosen for excellence in expository preaching."

In January 2006 Chris received a Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, having completed the preaching track under Haddon Robinson.

Chris has served as a youth pastor, senior pastor, and church planting pastor with Harvest Bible Chapel (Rolling Meadows, IL). He also served on the Advisory Board for the Association of Baptists for Worldwide Evangelism (ABWE).

Before writing about forgiveness, Chris preached material from the book at numerous churches, seminaries, camp settings, and internationally.

Anne Byle

Ann Byle is the author of The Making of a Christian Bestseller (FaithWalk) and coauthor with surfer Bethany Hamilton of Devotions for the Soul Surfer (Thomas Nelson). She is a freelance writer and reviewer for The Grand Rapids Press, as well as magazines and online publications. She speaks at writers' conferences, MOPS groups, and other women's events around the country. She and her husband, Ray, and their four children live in West Michigan.

John Frye
David Garrett

David Garrett is a practicing Christian attorney who has specialized in working with other believers who were in conflict with each other. He has written a book on the subject, and is in the process of creating a non-profit ministry to promote the concepts espoused in the book.

David has a B.A. Spring Arbor University and has studied at Moody Bible Institute and Gordon College. He has a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.

After practicing real estate law in Connecticut, David established a private practice in West Michigan. He has also established a new ministry, called ICORVI (after 1 Corinthians VI) which seeks to inspire churches and Christian organizations to set up their own teams to resolve conflict, educate their constituencies, and provides them with tools for doing so. These tools include speaking events, seminars, consulting work, publications, and Internet tools.

David is also developing seminary curriculum and materials for church planters. He lives with his wife in Muskegon, Michigan.

Kim Goad

Kim's sixteen years of experience in the corporate world have given her first-hand and practical familiarity with what it takes to be an effective leader.

Kim has a desire to see young women come to know God and their role in the world through in-depth study of the Bible. As such, she has had the pleasure of working with young women by leading Bible studies and retreats, facilitating mission trips, and overseeing twenty student leaders each year at the Hilltop Christian Camp Girls Week.

Kim has written a high school student how-to guide for career leadership mentoring with young girls for the Learn More Resource Center, a group under the direction of the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. She has also written articles for Business Network (a publication of the Chamber of Commerce of Bloomington, Indiana), the IU Alumni Magazine, and M.D. News (a business and lifestyle magazine for physicians).

She is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Business.

Claudia Mitchell

Claudia's current position as Director of Women's Ministries at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bloomington, Indiana, coupled with her ten years of experience teaching elementary school students and ten years of experience as a Children’s Minister, have given her an abundant understanding of the needs of young women.

Under her ten years as Dean of the Hilltop Christian Camp Girls Week, Claudia has had the privilege of seeing numerous young women develop into extraordinary leaders--including many who have assumed roles in ministry and overseas missions.

She has shared her experiences by speaking at public education conferences, the North American Christian Convention, the International Network of Children's Ministry, the Youth Workers Conference, various women's conferences and youth camps, and in classrooms at Indiana University and Ivy Tech College in Bloomington, Indiana.

She has written Sunday school lessons for Standard Publishing Company for children and adults, as well as articles in Hoosier Gadabout and Hoosier Outdoors.

Claudia attended Lincoln Christian College and graduated from Indiana University. During her teaching career, she received The Golden Apple Teaching Award and Special Education Award. While in children’s ministry, she received the All Star VBS Award from Standard Publishing.

Ben is Campus Pastor at Westmont College. He is a contributing editor for Christianity Today, and Leadership Journal.

Rex M. Rogers

Dr. Rogers served as President of Cornerstone University, Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, Asia Baptist Theological Seminary (based in Singapore) and Cornerstone University Radio (WCSG, WAYK, WAYG, His Kids Radio, and Mission Network News). He is currently tied for third longest-serving president among independent colleges and universities in Michigan.

His degrees include a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Cincinnati, an M.A. in political science, and a B.A. in social science from Cedarville University. Dr. Rogers' books include Gambling: Don't Bet On It (Kregel, 2005); Christian Liberty: Living for God in a Changing Culture (Baker, 2003), and Seducing America: Is Gambling a Good Bet? (Baker, 1997).

David Sanford

David Sanford and his wife, Renee, own Sanford Communications, Inc., a company that works with Christian ministry leaders and publishers to develop life-changing books, Bible-related products, and other Christian resources.

David graduated with top honors from Multnomah Bible College. Prior to starting Sanford Communications, Inc., David served as Vice President of Publishing and Internet Ministries for the Luis Palau Evangelistic Association. David also served as Adjunct Professor of Journalism at Western Baptist College (now Corban College) and as Instructor of Mass Media at Multnomah Biblical Seminary.

David Sanford's publications include the Starting Point Study Bible (Zondervan, 2002), and, with his wife, the Living Faith Bible (Tyndale, 2000). Most recently, they served as co-authors of How to Read Your Bible (Thomas Nelson, 2005) and co-creators of three popular new BibleZines (Thomas Nelson, 2006).

Greg Spencer

Dr. Spencer serves as Professor of Communication Studies at Westmont College. He has a Ph.D. in Philosophy, Rhetoric and Communication from the University of Oregon, 1985, an M.S. in Rhetoric and Communication from the University of Oregon, and a B.S. in Speech Communication from California State Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo.

Michael Vander Klipp

Michael Vander Klipp serves as Senior Product Development Director for the Zondervan Bible group, where for the past 13 years he has worked on nearly all of Zondervan's major study and devotional Bible releases. He received an M.A. in English from Western Michigan University and a B.A. in History from Calvin College.

Mike's publications include Please Don't Feed the Lions: 40 Devotions on the book of Daniel for Middle Schoolers and the God Made series of board books for ZonderKidz. He and his wife live with their four young children and the dog in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Case Van Kempen

Case Van Kempen was born in the Netherlands, raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, attended Hope College, Wayne State University Law School and Western Theological Seminary, and began serving as a pastor in 1984. After 19 years of serving parishes in New York, New Jersey, and Michigan, he trained as a specialized interim minister, and has led four churches in that capacity in Wisconsin and Michigan. He currently lives in Holland, Michigan, with his wife, Leigh, who is also a seminary graduate (serving as a chaplain at a skilled care nursing facility).

Case writes a weekly lead editorial for the daily paper in the Michigan lakeshore region, the Holland Sentinel (circ. 20,000) as well as a religion column in rotation with several other area clergy. Case has written articles for Reformed Worship, The Church Herald, and Reformed Review. He has also written three books, each published by Faith Alive Christian Resources: Hard Questions People Ask About the Christian Faith, (Faith Alive Christian Resources, 2002); Daniel: Daring Faith for Dangerous Times, (Faith Alive Christian Resources, 2003), and I, II and III John: Living in the Light of Love (Faith Alive Christian Resources, 2004).

Elaina Whitenhall

whittenhall photoElaina Whittenhall has read and edited many books as a copyeditor at InterVarsity Press. She studied English and communication arts at Cornerstone University and is currently doing graduate work in systematic and historical theology at Wheaton College Graduate School.

Elaina has written out of her life experience and struggles. She published a booklet about her story and some of the ways she was able to get help called Cutting: Self-Injury and Emotional Pain, (InterVarsity Press).

Elaina has also written about her struggles with depression and suicidal thinking (Evangel magazine), her teenage experience with anorexia and bulimia and has contributed to an article on cutting . She regularly keeps a blog on MySpace.

Kevin Williams

Kevin is the marketing manager for Discovery House Publishers, a member of the RBC Ministries family. As marketing manager since 1997, Kevin is intimately familiar with the Christian book and music marketplace. As part of the staff of RBC Ministries, Kevin has authored three Discovery Series booklets with distribution to tens of thousands of households, and is a contributor to the daily devotional Our Daily Bread.

Kevin served for ten years as pastor of Messianic Jewish congregations in Toledo, Ohio, and Grand Rapids, Michigan, and has been a speaker at regional and international conferences. Kevin and his wife, Linda, are book and music reviewers, as well as authors on articles on topics of interest for Renaissance Magazine, a niche periodical for those with a passion for the Medieval and Renaissance periods.

Michael E. Witmer

Dr. Wittmer is an Associate Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, where he also directs the Center for Christian Worldview. His first book, Heaven Is a Place on Earth (Zondervan, 2004), is a well-received introduction to Christian worldview that is currently used by colleges, seminaries, and small groups. He is also a regular speaker at churches and conferences.

Dr. Wittmer has a Ph.D. from Calvin Theological Seminary, a Th.M. from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and a B.A. from Cedarville University.

Christopher Wolf

Rev. Wolf is the senior pastor of First Reformed Church in Grandville, Michigan. Previously, he was the pastor of the Lebanon Reformed Church in New Jersey. While at Lebanon, Rev. Wolf served in the community as the vice-chair of the county's Women's Crisis Services.

He also serves at the denominational level on the Church Herald Editorial Council and the Reformed Church’s new "Communication, Vision and Evaluation Workgroup."

Rev. Wolf is a 2002 graduate of New Brunswick Theological Seminary. He is also a 1992 graduate of The College of New Jersey with B.A. in Communication.

Prior to joining the ministry, Rev. Wolf was a reporter and copy editor for a weekly newspaper. He also served multiple functions in the New Jersey assembly, and was a director of public affairs for a public relations firm. He has published more than fifty pieces in newspapers, magazines and Web sites on subjects such as leadership, values, government reform, and community. He lives in Grandville, Michigan, with his wife and two children.
